Fox Electric Fan

I have been reading about the topic and it sounds like most agree the the mark VIII fan is the best,(for power and fit) i was just wondering what year of the Mark VIII to look for.

I Have a sn95 fan but the plastic is melted around one of the terminals on the connector and fan plug so I decided to go for the Mark VIII fan

and I have a 130a 3g alt

I snagged up a taurus fan and plug for 85 shipped from a guy on the corral they flow really well to

93-96 use p/n F3LY 8C607 A @ 245.80
The 93-96 spin 1100 rpmson low and 1850 on highspeed.

97's use p/n F7LZ 8C607 AB @ 196.23
98's use p/n F8LZ 8C607 AA @ 140.11
The 97-98 spin 1800 on low and 2225 on high.

They all look the same, all come with a shroud. The 93-96 spin slower according to Ford Motorsport Tech line.

i have the black magic elec. fan w/ alumn. rad . it has the relay & thermostat built in for easy install. & can be wired for the fan to run on & off after u shut the car off.

I have mark 8 fans on both my foxes. They are the best fan I've ever had. They may need a little trim but nothing thats hard. They draw something like 42amps at full power, and I find it hard to find relays to handle it. 10g wire is a must!!!! and Flex-a-lite makes the perfect relay for it! You will need the 3g alt. upgrade of cource.
