Yes, but how exactly would one go about attaching it? Make a bracket to mount it to the underside of the front edge of the hood?

I kinda like the plain, simple look without a pony there.

I don't know about the sn95 pony emblems. But, the front Ford emblem for my '86 is held on with body tape. It comes like that.

Both PPI (http://www.performancepartsinc.com/int_ext.htm ) and Late Model Restoration ( http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/ )have a number of Mustang emblems.
If I had to choose, I'd pick them in the following order.
The NOS Ford emblem that I have on my car is OEM for an '86.

I'm really shocked at how many people don't like that. First time i saw it my jaw dropped. The only way it could look any better is with a Saleen valance.

That's awesome. If i ever have an aero car again, it's getting that grill treatment. That would look badass on a GT too.

I dunno about the gt, but it flows perfectly with that saleen bumper. I was going to do that to my old LX before I sold it.

In all honesty -

In the first post, I love that "lip" or air dam underneath the front bumper. That caught my attention more and i'd like to install that on my car

I think the first car belongs/belonged to someone on SVTP. I think they have a Lightning as well, I'll dig around and see if I can find the person it belongs to. I'm still undecided about it really, like it in one way and don't in another, would have to see in person first I guess.

I think that's the same mod Daggar did to his '86 GT. It's basically just the stock airdam from a Ford Ranger (I forget which year, though) slightly trimmed to fit.
