Fox TB Swap Advice/Help for a 351 in a 95....

I was thinking about doing this for my 95 when i do the 351 in it. But i was wondering why we had the elbow in the first place. Was it to flow with the hood and body lines? I am wondering if i will be hitting the hood with the tb because i already know im gonna be close with the intake itself.

Jesse's got it done on his car. Depends on what intake you go with if it's going to hit or not.

With our egr elbow it will have more hood clearance than the fox settup.

But once you need a 80mm+ tbody you really dont have a choice.

Which hood do you have with that box intake? I know a guy who has a hogans sheet metal intake for cheap. Do you think a box type of intake will kill my low rpm performance on a 351 with about 10.5:1 compression, 5-speed, maybe a trickflow stage 2 cam, trick flow twisted wedge heads with a stage 1 fox lake port job?

Or should i stick with a regular trickflow intake? How much am i giving up with the fox setup? It seemed they had an easier job fitting the 351 under their hood then we did. Must have something to do with the fender lines....i have no clue.
