Can the swap be performed while keeping all smog equipment functional or is the swap for smog-less cars only? Just curious to see if anyone has done this and kept their smog. Also, can you keep your cruis control functional as well? Thanks

Im EGR delete but with what youve done (in sig) to it, is the EGR functional now? Do the Eddy heads have the exhaust ports for the EGR valve open, if so then you should be able to run the 86-93 EGR setup. I have a Fox valve connected to the PCM BUT NOT FUNCTIONAL.

Yes, the swap can be done running smog equipment. I'm running with all of my smog equipment and cruise control.

You need to cap off the external EGR bung in your header (or run Fox headers) and you can run a Fox EGR valve on the EGR plate and use the intake's internal EGR.

The cruise is kept by using a Fox cruise cable because the end that connects to the vacuum servo is the same as ours.

The caveate mentioed to EGR functionality is that the heads/intake must have open EGR ports. If not, the EGR can be hooked up visually but you need to program out the EEC's EGR operation.

The heads do have the cross-over tube as they are 50 state-legal heads. As far as the smog setup, it is legal in most states. However, the states that require the four cats as per how the car was produced fails the visual...

Thanks everyone for the help!!!
