Well, i've owned my car for 2 1/2 years and decided to copy everyone else and make a progress thread of my own.
Before:

The first thing I did after i got my car (and money) was buy new wheels for it. Wheels and tires cost $800 even, shipping included.

Oh yeah, I also did a cold air intake ($40-EBay) the summer before, but I never took pictures of that.

Then I got tired of my car looking like a formal bowtie, so I painted it all one color...

But of course i'm a really cheap guy so i bought Bright White Duplicolor paint. You could tell a diference if you looked closely, but you really couldnt tell that it was a tad brighter (except for at night, it kinda glowed)

Then of course my fox had to have the stiffest springs in the world and the oldest shocks and struts, so i replaced those and shaved down the rubber inserts in the springs, so i wouldnt ride so hard, but corner well. (It was put to the test a week or two ago)

My second latest and most fatefull project was installing a shift kit into my AOD transmission. It seemed to go well, but supossedly (according to Aamco) i put it in wrong , so a month later my transmission is screwed, and I'm on my way to get a T-5.

And my Latest...
A guy in a Durango backed into my car and So i bought a new fender and today painted it, and repainted my rubber bumper strips to match the rest of the car.

I had to take the old fender off and am now working on putting on my new fender, the 5.0 badge, and pinstriping.
I figured out that when you get all the bolts off but one...there's only one thing to do. RIP OFF THE FENDER!!!

So now here's the grand finale (for now) the before and after so...

EBay. 60 for the fender 70 for shipping. Not bad if you ask me

I agree. The black trim looked pretty good. Its to bad you didn't have the rims on there with the black trim. Cause i think you would of liked it more... Ha by the way that off white stood out like a sore thumb before i even read your comment about it not matching lol. But its a nice car don't get me wrong!

Edit: Is your rear bumper replaced as well? Looks like a dif white to me..

Yeah, i like them alot better too. The black was too formal for me (and I already drove it to prom so...) and too 80's...i liked the more modern look.

View attachment 371607

Just picture her with all the missing flakes of paint gone, and a perfect paintjob. when it gets a little better weather I'll take some of the final product.

No...but that wasnt the main problem...that plastic is so **** flexible that my moronic friends sat on the trunk of my car and were pushing down on the bumper and the paint all flaked off.
