FR500 steering wheel color

are they all black, or are there light grey ones also?

Ive looked around online :search:
but have only found the black ones

they only make them in the dark charchoal grey (99-04 color), not black black like ours. Some guys have installed them and they look pretty good against the black, just depends how picky you are about things matching perfectly. When in doubt, change the rest of the interior to match the steering wheel

1TallMF is right, they are dark charcoal in color and against our black the color difference is pretty obvious. Not sure about you but I'm very anal about those things and it would drive me nuts.

The FR500 steering wheel also does NOT come with the center cover (the part covering the air bag). Correct???

So not only does it not match a black interior, you'll have to go find a matching center piece or just slap on whatever color you have now.

Can anyone post pics of cool steering wheels? I have yet to see a cool one that looks like it goes with the car.. You know, not some tacky looking add on that looks out of place..

or u can do what im doing, installin the FR steerin wheel with the tan center cover

You can just die the air bag cover to match.

+1.... i figure my way, IMHO, will still give it a two-tone look that my interior already has. gonna TRY and put it on this weekend. cant guarntee, but ill be sure to take pictures. transmission n gas leak is most important!

is there any light grey cobra steering wheel and air bag cover out there? did any year cobra come with the two tone black and light grey interior?

Also to answer the question above I'm pretty sure that the cobra's only came with two interior choices tan or black and each one was made in either cloth or leather. Cloth being the rare version.
Mine has cloth interior and is 1 of only 66 made in 95 that was white with tan cloth.

That picture was from my GT.. I also have one at home waiting to go on my cobra... 157 shipped from american muscle with stangnet coupon code..
