Any opinions or ideas are welcome!!

Make sure you get the KDW 2's.

I tried to get those tires and I ordered the KDW's by mistake and got the "classic" tread pattern. The KDW2's are the ones with the cool tread pattern..

I had to get the kdw's because the kdw 2's are not avail in a lot of sizes,I agree they look better but the kdw's are nice if the 2's don't come in the size you want

265/35 is too wide for a 9 inch wheel on the front. I've got 245/35/18's... they fit perfectly. I used to run a 235/40/18 but it still looked too tall even strectch onto a 9 inch wheel(which is what Porsches come with on their oem 9 inch wheels, before anyone jumps). 295/35 for the 10" wheel in the rear, however is perfect. Looks like that cobra has a drag radial in the rear though... I don't dig the balloon-tire look. I just ordered the KDW 2's also to replace my Falkens. I like my tires to match and its hard to find a company that offers both a 245/35/18 and 295/35/18.

KDW2's are awesome.. I would lean against getting a 265 in the front because of hydroplaning issues (if it is one). I slow down a lot in the rain because the 295's hydroplane a little and follow the road a lot.

However, if I get into a dry road groove it'll pull me through a turn at high speed.

back2mustangs.....a 265/35 is not too wide for a 9 inch rim, many people on here (including myself) are running a 275 and as much as a 285 on a 9 inch front rim even with a 2 inch drop. Perhaps you meant 8 inch rim?

265/35/18 will fit just fine in the front, and it wont give u the "baloon tire" look. I have 265/35/18 & 295/35/18 on my 18X9 & 18X10 FR500's. I think on your silver stang I would get either silver or hypercoat. I dont think anthracite would look that great. Your car is sweet by the way. I hope u dont plan on getting that FR500 hood & front bumper do u, cuz that thing looks weird. You got some good tasteful body mods on there already, & it looks real sleek & sporty. The FR500s will make it look perfect.

Heres pics of mine with 265 & 295 BFG KDW2's...i think they are the perfect size.

I was talking about a 9 inch wheel... I didn't mean "too wide" in terms of fitment, but more in the way of how the tire looks on the wheel. I've seen 275's and 285's on 9 inch rims, but on the front of the car I think less is more. I just don't like that much tire hanging over the side of the rims. I like the tires to be as flush with the edge of the rim as they can be with no buldge.

2001StanGT, I think Chrome would be best for your silver GT. Keep searching and you'll find a couple members with silver GT's and Chrome FR500's.

Those pic's of EPIKGT's car just made my heart sink. It doesn't look bad, but not my taste.

What do u mean it made your heart sink? What do u like skinny rims with no meat, because I dont think 295's bulge much imo. Stretched tires look good on Nissan 240's but meat looks better on stangs to me. I would consider maybe a 255 in the front, but no less.

Awe man, you're too fast! I tried to take that out of my post cause I didn't want to seem like I was attacking your car. Sorry, its just a matter of preference. I know some guys like meaty tires. I don't like my tires to be stretched really, I just like the shoulders to be square and the side wall flush/flat. :)

Oh, and no the 295's are fine. Thats the same setup in the rear as I have, but the front is where I like to keep my rubber fit and trim. ;)

I see what your saying about the front, but if u look the 265's dont bulge much. I am probably gonna go with a 255 in the front next time, but not 4 looks, but because 265's track a lil 2 much. You do know that 03-04 Cobras come with 275's from the factory right?

Yeah. Sorry again. At first glance your 295 KDW's looked really bubbly and that's what alarmed me and made me think I shouldv'e gone with a 285, but I looked at your pics a little longer and they look fine. I have 295 Falkens now and I like the way they fit, but they quit making them so I thought I'd try the KDW's.

Wow, no I didn't know that.

Its all good..no offense taken....:D

EPIKGT.............This is by far the baddest Mach1/Mustang I've seen on StangNet. And as far as the Fr500 hood and bumper go thats def not going to happen. Those are my only complaints about the concept was the hood, front/rear bumper.

I am running 275/40/17 front and back till i can get 2 10" wheels for the rear so i can go a little bigger. They look great with no bulge!
