Going to tackle the front frame rails on my 92 coupe, new to the mustang game and have my car stripped down at the moment.

Does anyone have a front frame diagram for the fox? I want to make sure everything is straight before I remove them and put in the new ones. Also does anyone have a link to another frame replacement thread using 2x3 stock that I can use as a guide. Found a few threads but want to know what one is good to use as a guide.

The crush tubes are totally gone in my rails and the sections of frame were the k member bolts up to is rotted pretty good so I want to make sure the k member goes back in the right location and the mounting hole placement is good.

Thanks guys.

They make new pistons every day, so why worry?

While I don't have point to point dimensions for the Foxbody I have had the front of my car cut off and rebuilt
Any bodyshop should have a manual or computer (alldata?) with this info. For a small fee I'm sure they would be happy to divulge info to you.
With that being said, With my car on jack stands I laid tape out on the floor and transferred a host of measurements with a plumb bob down to the floor. This gave me a basis to reconstruct my front end, of which is perfectly level and fits great after being rebuilt. I will have to look through my desk top to see if I have any pictures from that process a few years back.

Thanks for the reply 84Ttop. I ended up buying plumb bobs and was able to find some info on the measurements from other forums and some info on alldata like you suggested.

Got the driver's side frame rail cut out and getting the new one ready to go in. Going to bolt up the k member on driver's side and two locations at firewall, then use the plumb bobs to get it back to the factory measurements before I weld the new rail in.

I'm trying man.smh I've built a couple foxes already. Its hard not having a garage and going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark. It'll come together (I hope) one part at a time. Smh
