Okay not sure if i have ever heard of this, i just pooped a freeze plug out of my
93 gt vert the car is bone stock and the radiator looks to be in very good shape
so it wasn't rust(i just bought the car the other day). I was accelerating from
55 to about 75 and got a huge cloud of steam and antifreeze. It was only like a
mile to my house so got it home and shut off very quickly. no water in the oil. But
when i shut it off after i figured out what the hell happened it made a grinding
noise, the only thing it could really be is the pistion rings in the cylider. But i
had to move it after that and it ran smooth so did that cylinder get hot and
pop the plug and then cool off, or did the plug just fall out ???? anyone shed some light on
this or anyone that has experianced this have any ideas, putting a new plug in is
easy it is the back one on the pass side, but i wonder if it hurt the motor
thanks for any help
