Well i had the cobra in storage and my water/antifreeze mix was about 80/20 cause i kept blowing water out of the overflow so i just kept putting water back in it...
The heat went out in the shop and i didnt know it for a few days, it was down to about 8* for a few days..
anyway i popped the front freeze plug out on the driver's side and the middle freeze plug out of the passenger side. Both of which are kinda up under the engine mounts...

I am wondering if its possible to put them back in without pulling the engine.
Thanks

yes, done it before on different model, the only problem is moving everything to get a good angle with tools to install new freeze plug, you may have to remove motor mount and jack motor up a bit.

I put a thin layer (not a lote) of high temp silicone on the area that the plugs are pressed into for a little added protection and used a big socket (22mm) I think to tap in.

Peace
Al

I'm a bit confused as to why the plugs came out? You removed them or they popped out on there own?

no... im an idiot
there isnt really anywhere around here to get it done... i should have driven it back up to alternative auto performance in michigan and have them redo my chip... just never did it

i actually had an offer on my car from the guy who sold it to me... for $3500 more than i bought it for i'll probably make a post about that in the talk section
