Freeze Plugs...which To Get?

Hey guys I used to buy the steel freeze plugs for my 2.3 Turbo Mustang but it seems they rust way too fast, but then again I don't have any antifreeze in the car (Thanks to past owner). I'm redoing the system now and was wondering what type of freeze plugs I should get for it this time. To go with steel or another? Thanks!

Brass FB's seem to be the norm. Never rust.

Do the threaded ones make ANY difference in block strength. I bet not, but somebody here has to know.

I just glue and screw aluminum discs in mine.........doesn't everybody?
