Well I currently have a T5 from a 4 banger and I love the feeling of pounding gears and chirping everyone of them on the way (except 5th of course)...

I have the oppurtunity to buy a built C4 from a friend. This thing has a high stall torque (1800 I think?), Reverse TB, new clutches and bands.... I can get this for roughly $800 CAD. It would kick whoever is in the Mustang right out the hatch window for it shifts so damn hard It sits behind a 480HP / 535 lb-ft torque engine currently but it should be good up to 800HP according to the person who built it. I have a ratchet shifter from B&M in stock also.

That or a TKO? I was planning a new TKO so I can turbocharge my new stroker engine to reach the 600+ HP goal... I'd rather sell my 5 speed now than to risk killing it but I'd more than likely keep the stuff because it's getting more and more rare around here.

What the hell to do? Go with a TKO which is more expensive but maybe more fun or get the C4 and also have fun plus have money left over to actually get the car painted lol.

C4 rules! 1800 is way LOOOOOOWWWW!!!!! It's got to be higher if it's behind such a powerful car.

I'm really interested in doing a C-4 swap on my car. What's involved?

Also, which is better, case or pan fill?

You've already answered your question in the first paragraph.

Don't waste your time with the c4. great tranny, not super streetable, no overdrive. If you love shifting, you'll hate the c4
