Front Blinkers Wiring Issue

Having apparently lost my mind and my wiring diagram for my 65, I finally got to the point where I got the front blinkers mounted back on the car. Besides the plug containing the 2 wires thats pretty obvious where it goes, where does the third wire need to go to? I`ll post some pics if need be.

IIRC the third wire goes up and is connected into the harness with the parking lights. The plug should be a single female plug. One on each side of the car in the area of the headlight.
You should be able to find it without taking the headlight bulb out.

On the original harness, The Black/Yellow wire (Marker Light) and the Green/White (Left Signal Light) or White/Blue (Right Signal Light) are together in the 2-wire plugs. The single wire/connector (Black IIRC) is the ground wire which ties in with each of the headlight grounds.

Well I`m really close now to having it all working, I tied the third wire into the hadlight ground wire on both sides, ran a ground wire directly to the body on both sides from where I joined the wires together. Everything works correctly except for one thing, when I turn the headlights on, the drivers side park lamp goes out....

I saw on one wiring diagram it looks like the ground wires from the park light/headlight ground were ran across the car to each other, that doesn`t even make sense to me, but its the only thing I didn`t try.

When the headlights go on both park lights should go off. there is something mis-wired on the passenger side.

haha don't fret. take your time and trace each wire individually. it will help in the long run too because you'll get acquanted with your harness. Honestly this is the best practice in my opinion.

This coming from a guy who wired a car from scratch with a painless harness so I can tell you first hand I know way too much about tracing wires back and forth. Especially after modifying the harness to remove items and add in my EFI harness.
