Front clip from an 87-93 go on a 1979?

I'm interested in a 1979 notchback that looks pretty sweet from behind but the front is hideous. I was wondering if an 87-93 front clip fit a 1979 body?

Don't buy a 79-86 car to make it a 87-93... Stupid. There are TOO many Areo foxes out there to ruin a perfectly good 4 eyed car. If you want a 79 to look like an 87-93... then just BUY an 87-93.

The one I sent is from an 88. Yours is only a 90 correct? I would think they would be the same. Did I send the wrong thing or was there a slight design change? I'm going to go check out that thread again.
