ive read many past posts about installing front coils on a fox body and i wouldnt have been able to do it without your guys advice thanks a bunch.
i used a combo of the MFE way and a single autozone spring compressor i modified. with the strut attached i ran 1 spring compressor WITHOUT the top hook on it thru the hole in the LCA. then i put the rod thru a piece of plate steel with a washer and a nut on it. (i saw what the ford tool looked like in my svc manual and said i could make that!) compressed the spring and jacked up the LCA. voila.
