On my way to grab some breakfest, I pulled into a gas station to fill up and grab a redbull, and I noticed a horrible sound coming from my front drive's side wheel when I turned in.

It continues to make noise anytime I turn right or left. However the noise appears to only be on the driver's side. Nothing appears to be rubbing front what I can see. Any idea's what it could be?

CV joints.

Seriously, do you have to cut the wheel almost to the limiters to make the noise or does it happen as soon as you 'turn in'?

If at all times, can you tell if it's coming from the pump itself?

Good luck.

It seems to be random. At times the slightest turn causes it, and at other times you have to turn the wheel more in order to hear the noise. It hasnt taken anyway abilty to turn or caused any vibration.

Though the pump hasnt worked right, since I bought the car. It always sounds like you need to add ps fluid.

I had the same problem on my mustang. jacked it up front was tight. brought to my friends shop, I just put in new struts and strut bearings in front end was tight, whee bearing etc. found play in the lower control arm, bushings had gone bad and the arm would move and flex. I ordered new ford racing arms and did both sides and it fixed the problem for me. maybe something to look at also maybe wheel bearings on that side?

I would define the noise as squeaky creaking.

The noise seems to be at random. I fired her up last night and took her around making random turns and even going in circles from left to right, and could not hear the sound. Then, this morning, on my way out of my garage, it started making the noise again and suddenly stopped.

I'm going to put her up on the lift this week and see if we can determine what it is for sure.

check the rubber boot around the ball joint to see if its busted if it is its probably the ball joints. they are a mojor pain in the arse to change. my and slow95gt did mine this weekend and it sucked bad. my car was squeeking and creaking as described above for a few months and i kept spraying white lithium grease into the boot to make it stopped before i ever replaced them. try that too.

Oops, my first take on this thread was some issue with the hydraulics and I didnt ask more questions. My bad.

Keith has you steered straight (pun intended). BJ's, tie rods and strut bushings are all good places to look.

The OEM BJ's have wear indicators on them as I recall. Sometimes you can see something if you get creative with prying.

Thanks for all the feedback, I should have it up on the rack in a few days, and I'll look at the BJ's, tie rods, and bushings.
