The front facia in the edelbrock ad at the top of the page, it might be at the top now, it cycles with other ads, but the edelbrock ad with the black mustang, would you say it has an aftermarket facia, a CDC aggressive chin spoiler or something else. I took out my bottom grill, which I don’t like, and want just an opening down there or just the two up and down posts that are there, but there is more plastic there for the OEM grill to mount. I know the CDC aggressive cuts this out but I don’t want the whole chin spoiler just the part that removes the lower grill and "finishes" it off, and that ad is what I'm looking for, any suggestions?

Tks
Jim

It appears to be very similar to the Saleen bumper as far as the bottom openings are concerned. The corner lights are much smaller on the Saleen than the GT...the Edlebrock GT has those painted black with no lens there. Street Scene makes a bumper similar to that as well.

i dont think it is the saleen. notice the lower openings, they have a unique shape.

Looks like the edelbrock one doesnt have the fogs between the upper grill and head lights either. i like the stock gt facia but not the lower grill, and once it is removed what is left, looks bad, it would not be to bad if i trimmed the extra plastic off but i dont think i can get that exact with a razor blade, that is why the cdc aggressive is nice, that it cuts all this out, and gives you a trim piece that trims out the cut area. i guess the worst that can happen is i try to trim it off and if it looks bad i have to get the cdc chin spoiler..

They are pretty close though, the Edlebrock bumper slopes towards the center of the bumper while the Saleen slopes to the outside...the biggest difference is that the Saleen bumper has the built in fog lights in the pillars next to the grill...I don't care for that to much.

well i tried trimming the unwanted plactic, but there was no way to get a nice crisp edge, and at the same time where i cut was unpainted and looked bad, so i decided to go with these grills and get them powder coated black, do these mount to the stock grills or do they replace them?
