FF&MM had an article saying to remove your front stabilizer bar for better pitch on launch is this true?

Removing the front stabilizar allows better weight distribution on launch. The front end will lift more, putting more weight on the rear tires which = better traction.

Yep. But I wouldn't recommend it on the street, it kills your handling.

I would always disconnect mine before going to the track to get better front end lift and it would usually pull the left front tire pretty good with it loose. Never took it off cause the car was my daily driver and that extra 20lbs is not going to make a difference in a car that weighs 3500lbs to start with.

stock bar weighs 13lbs. As far as it helping on launch, disconnecting the end links will allow the suspension to be able to rise more and put more weight on the rear. Now this also depends on your suspension setup in the first place....

on a stock or loose front suspension it will help, but on a stiff or lowered suspension it won't that much.

It didn't help at all on my car, but I have Steeda Super Sport springs and bullitt shocks/struts so it's lowered and stiff. I cut 1.6 60' with the bar on and off

Wow, you cut a 1.6 60 foot with that suspension? I have the same setup and I can't get any weight transfer at all, rear shocks unload to quickly and the fronts don't raise up at all. Were you running slicks? whats the rest of your combo?
