FRPP Aluminum Driveshaft with auto?

i was going to buy one and i noticed it says manual only. then i read this.
"You can swap the front yoke off the stock driveshaft onto the aluminum driveshaft that is built for the manual transmission. The rear flange is the same on all cars, auto or manual."
is this true b4 i buy one?

I have one on my auto with no issues.

it's true, the yoke is the only issue.

I can also confirm that this information is correct. I have the FRPP Aluminum Driveshaft on my car, and all that was required was swapping the stock yoke for the one that comes with the new driveshaft.

i kno nothing about driveshafts and have another ? the one im looking at buying is used and the guy said it doesnt come with the companion flange. can i jus use the one thats on the car already?

Any you guys who have done the swap to aluminum, still have your steel shaft ? PM me with what you have. I need one for my 77 Comet.
