Thanks to out friend the impact gun I got my new driveshaft installed today! (Thanks for the hook up Kevin!) Overall I would say the SOTP meter isn't going crazy or anything, but it does feel like it rev's up a little quicker. Overall I'm still glad I got it, looks WAY nicer than the rusty POS that was there before and I know that this will stand up to WAY more abuse as time goes on. I also got the Lakewood FRPP driveshaft loop, but I'm going to wait until spring to get that installed.

P.S. - I found a guy selling a K&N FIPK for $100 US and I don't even have to pay shipping cause I'll be in the area where he lives next month do you guys think it's worth it?

To follow up on the driveshaft comments, I drove the car to school today (on Ring Road) and the car has a lot less vibration in it over 100 kph.

As for the blower comment, I was thinking that it'll be at least another year or two before I can afford a blower so I thought it I get the intake now use it for a few years and then sell it off when I get a blower...

Congrats on the D shaft man! . I'll have to think of getting one someday. Glad to hear it feels better than the old steel tank! $100 is a good price for the FIPK. If you can afford it and want it buy it. It will help a little and if your not going to get a blower right away you may as well do some little mods to scratch the bug and give a few more ponies for next year.
