I'm thinking of selling/trading my 1994 mustang GT, 5.0/5speed. $5800
Wanting a 86-93 mustang LX coupe 5.0/auto overdrive.
Only reason I'm wanting to sell/trade is because Daughter is getting close to driving age & she wants a Fox coupe.
"MUST BE FUEL INJECTED, NO CARB SWAP"
(I'll consider 4cyl to V8 swapped cars as long as its a good, correct clean swap)
I'm looking for a car that's in comparable shape as my car.
Your car must be a good running, driving reliable car like mine.
I'm not expecting something perfect, but I'm not looking for one that's been beat on, abused, rusted out, thrashed body & interior.
Here's some details on my 94 GT:
Located in Yukon but I drive it to Midwest city frequently.
Motor has approx. 140k mi. that don't leak a drop of anything.
(odo recently quit working but I have a repair kit)
My GT has:
-Recent Paint, original Laser Red
-Fresh T5 that shifts very smooth
-Hurst shifter (older model that works great)
-Cobra brake kit front & rear. (Drilled/slotted rotors & new pads)
-Cobra sway bars
-Eibach Pro springs
-UPR CC plates
-Staggered black 10th anniversary wheels.
Front are17X9 with 245/45/17's approx. 50-60% tread Nitto 555's
Rear are 17X10.5 with 315/35/17's approx. 80-90% tread Nitto 555's
-Factory 94/95 cobra U/L intake
-Sub frame connectors
-Rear tubular U/L control arms W/poly bushings (non adjustable)
-BBK shorty headers "Chrome"
-BBK O/R X-pipe
-Magnaflow mufflers, stock tails
-BBK 75mm throttle body
-Unspecified black cold air intake, cone filter is located in the fender area.
-New clear headlights with -6K HID's (Bright white)
-Newer carpet kit
-Kenwood KDC-BT955HD single din head unit
-Custom fit dual 10" sub box that fits against rear seat
-2ea Kicker Comp 10: subs
-new 1000 2ch amp (Pyramid I think)
I drive this car Daily weather permitting.
I'll drive it to/from work every day.
(50mi round trip)
I've not had any issues with it at all, its a very reliable car that still gets pretty decent gas mileage.
It does have a couple chips on the front bumper cover & hood from driving on the interstate.
AC is all there, complete & will work but it has a leak in a line on the passenger side, next to the firewall. (I'll fix the AC for the right trade)
I tried to put Freon in it once, the compressor kicked on, blew cool air & it lost pressure.
I haven't messed with it since cause I drive my 2005 Chevy truck on hot days.
I've driven it from:
OKC to Wichita
OKC to Tulsa
Didn't have any issues at all.
Still has stock rear end gears (308's or 327's) cause I just want a solid driver that still gets "good" gas mileage.
Car is pretty quick for what it is but you won't win many stoplight to stoplight races.
But It'll run 80mph @ 2300rpm all day long.
