I need a little guidance here...

I have a 67. Was a 6cyl car, now converted to a 302/AOD/9" rear. In the last couple of weeks, I have been putting a few miles on it and doing a little fine tuning. It was running very good for about the last 30+ miles of driving. A couple of days ago, I took it for a ride, then went home to pick up my wife. We hopped in and restarted the car. All was well until we got about a block up the street and it started to bog and stumble. I limped it home and got it in the garage. I was thinking vapor lock maybe, so I let the car cool down for hours, but no lulck. Tried opening the fuel cap ( vent issue), no luck. I have a clear filetr right before the carb and it is clean. Tank is relatively new, fresh gas, etc. Last night I disconnected the fuel line from the carb and had my wife turn over the car. It had full fuel flow. Hmmm. I did notice the hose clamp was loose on that connection. Put it back together, replaced the clamp and tightened it up.

Tried to restart the car and it ran like a top.

Thoughts?
