2007 Mustang V6 Auto OD light on and wont go into reverse

Just as the title says...

This is my wifes car, 93K miles. She said that the OD light came on and the car wouldnt go over 20-25 mph. She got it home and we parked it for a week. I went to bring it to work this morning and the car wouldnt go into reverse. I believe the car is in limp mode and maybe a solenoid might have gone bad.

Any of you guys experienced this?
