i just got the performer upper and lower on and the tb and adapter peice bolted up and everything is put back together and its ready to start, so i turn the key, fuel pump makes a weird noise, and i look under the hood and theres a bunnnnch of gas under the fuel rail,,, i reused all the old o-rings and coated them in a bit of oil, and the rail is bolted on so the injectors have to be in place right? i dont want to take this crap back apart for like the 10th time. im going to just part my car out.

have someone turn the key on and watch to see if you can see where it is coming from.more than likely your injectors arent seated properly or your fuel rail isnt down all the way check the rail mounting bolts.

Yeah, those injectors are a PITA to get them to seat right. They literally "pop" in place once they are seated.

If you can't see where the fuel is coming from, yank the upper intake and get a better look.

If you unhooked the fuel lines from the rails make sure they are pushed all the way in until the snap in.
