fuel filter info please.

i have a 95 gt and just bought a new fuel filter from the auto parts store and wanted to know if there was a write-up on the forums or somewhere else to replace it?
i seen one for the 96+ cars but not the 94-95. thanks.
how long does it take usually.

It should be the same as the foxes, its like half a popcan sized thing thats under the car in front of the tank???

When i did mine it took like 20 mins or something, easy as hell.

First thing you HAVE to do is release the fuel pressure, its a little plug thing in the hatch of foxes, i dont know about your car though.

But as far as actually changing it its easy, try and be carful because you will spill gas. At least i did, i got it all over my arm and face.

Since you bought the car i would invest in a service manual, i have a haynes book. Just go to autzone or any parts store, they will have them for your car. Its like a bible, i use it all the time and they cover everything!

yea it is pretty easy, but watch out when u pull the filter off because i got gas all over my face and arm also lol!.

It is the same for both cars, except that the SN has the filter dead center in the middle of the car. You release pressure, loosen the band clamp around the filter housing, yank out the plastic line-retainer clips (your new filter should have new ones). Then install.

Do follow your manual for proper safety concerns (none of which I addressed).
