fuel filter

I am wondering where there fuel filter is on a '03 GT. Also does it need to be primed with fuel before installation?
I assume that it is somewhere underneath the car along the fuel lines. I would like to have an idea before starting an exploritory avdenture underneath the car being that I'm doing this with a jack and not a lift.

In front of the fuel tank kind of above the rear end

In front of the gas tank. Easy to work with as there is alot of room under there. If you want to find it just go underneath the back end. You dont have to jack up the car but if you change it, jack the car up.
