After my car would warm up, it would start to ping under heavy acceleration. I cleaned the maf, and that helped for a while, but it soon came back. The other day I decided to change the fuel filter while I was changing the oil. The filter I took off was heavy as hell, and it looked to be origional.

Anyway, I got the new one on and the thing runs 100x better. The clogged filter musta been making my car run lean or somthing, which may also be the cause of my car throwing lean condition codes ever so often.

This post is just a reminder....CHANGE THE DAMN FUEL FILTER. The gas bath was worth it. It was actually quite refreshing.

I never even thought about mine. I was just crawlin around under there checking to see if all the bolts holding my new susp were tight and I saw it.

Its well worth the 10 bucks to swap it out. It comes out/goes in real easy too.
