Electrical fuel guage shows full wth no power

it appears the needle is stuck on the fuel guage, checked power and sender wiring sender tests good , it stays above full power or no power can I take it apart?

Always give year mustang you have, sometimes it helps cause of wiring changes between years/models.
Off the top of my head I would say the circuit is grounded.

Hey General when I look at a set of pictures your idiot light comes on as one of them. This has been happening a long time, but just now I noticed where it comes from. It comes up as a black background with a larger sized fuzzy idiot light during a set of somebodys pics.

removed the guage cluster,the fuel guage stays over fuel can I take it apart and repair it?
