So today we are doing fuel injector testing. I say what the hell I'll test mine. So I pull the car in do the test and here are the results. KOEO-around 38-40 P.S.I before each test. After 100 pulses it dropped between 12 and 16 P.S.I. So the max varience in difference should be 1.5 P.S.I. and mine are about 2.5 (factoring in the before pulse difference.) So this shows a few are "slightly" out of spec. Is this "slight" sticking open anything anyone would worry about?

My short answer is:
I don't know.

The thought that entered my head is:
How you conduct a reliable injector test by priming the pump? Seems to me that without the control environment to make the fuel system prime to the saem pressure each time that there'd really be no way to test to within a pound and half. That's what they make injector test stand for.

Edit: Not to mention electrical variances to each of the injectors.

Specs are to be taken with a grain of salt. Not written in stone. I'm the head driveability guy art a Ford/Lincoln/Mercury Dealership. What I look for when looking at a "buzz" box is CONSISTANCY. Sound, flowrate etc. If your car is performing fine do not worrie about it.
