stprorolla49 said:joe, check the stator in the distributor...i bet thats your problem...when i had this problem, and i took the cap and rotor off, there was a pile of metal shavings sitting at the bottom of the dizzy that had worn off the stator...i ended up buying a whole new reconditioned dizzy from autozone for $70 or somethin, and calling it a day
