Fuel Issue

I have a problem when trying to start car right back up after driving long distance. If I go to a show and it sits for hours the car starts right back up. Not sure if vapor lock. Any advice would be appreciated.

Could be vapor lock, so check the location and proximity to heat sources of the fuel lines. Another thing it might be is your spark plugs. They might have bad electrodes within the ceramic insulation. I've had a set do to something similar. When the car was hot, it wouldn't restart. When it was cool there were no problems. The difference being that the car would occasionally die on me without warning. The plugs showed no signs of being bad to me, but I swapped them anyway and the problem was gone.

Here is something to think about vapor lock. If the car was running ok when you turned it off but wont restart unless it sits for awhile then its probably not vapor lock. Yes you can get vapor lock after shutting down due to temporary temp rises but there should be plenty of fuel in the bowl to start the car back up
when it does this, look down the carb and pump it to make sure there is no fuel. If there isn't fuel I would suspect vapor lock but vapor lock generally will show up other times as well say when driving on a really hot day it will stall the car out and wont restart until cooled down.
I would also check for fuel drippage in the carb after shutdown possibly flooding the carb? When it doesn't start normally then keep the throttle wide open while trying to start it like you would if flooded (don't pump the gas). If it starts then I would say its probably flooding after turning the engine off.
