Yea my dash 8 fuel line came off last night. I had a drip when i picked it up from the dealer, after all the legal crap was done. It wasn't anything serious at first but i guess the pressure was enough to move the line out when i would floor it.

Do you guys have any tips on doing this line again. I really hate fuel lines. Is there a tool i can buy to get it in easy or lub where the line just slides in the fitting?

To give you an idea the dash 8 is coming from the fuel rail going into the aero motive fuel pressure regulator. The leak is right behind the fitting on the fuel rail.

One time, I went to start my car in the garage, and when I started it I heard a waterfall coming out from my rear area. Went back, and had blown the fuel line off the pump. Scared the crap out of me though.

yeah, if its leaking dont drive it. my buddy had his first mustang burn to the ground in his driveway because his fuel line was leaking. he started it up and was letting it warm up when he felt some heat coming through the vents....then he noticed some smoke coming from under the hood. jumped out popped the hood and the engine was on fire. he shut the car off and it just kept burning

Guys I got the fuel line on!!!! I had my father do it but he amazed me and my friend. He took a half inch copper pipe put it on the dash 8 cut the line and put it in the fitting. The copper pipe kept the metal on the line compressed that is why it was so easy to put in. Now i can do fuel lines easy after seein my father do it.
