Hello,

I nned help. I'm running a Holley blue electric fuel pump on 6# of boost supercharged. I bought the fuel pump to run a different supercharger but am using it for now. I have a fuel pressure regulator with a bypass return line. With the high pressure of the fuel pump I could only get the regulator to drop the idle fuel pressure to 9#. Recently though I have been fouling plugs left and right just driving the car normally. I thought it might be my timing. i played with that over and over again. I noticed today at idle the fuel pressure gague on the regulator read 3#s. I'm thinking I killed the needs and seats in my Carb. Holey 650 double pumper 4777. I'm thinking the fuel is passing the needle and filling up the bowl and dumping into the intake. That would explain where all the fuel pressure went. Any other possibilties? I'm at a loss. Had to leave the car at work tonight. Thanks for any ideas. Oh and pardon if you see this on VMF

I think your on the right track.

But to be absolutely certain.. pull the line off of your carb and block it. Then turn on the key (to turn on the pump) and see what your fuel pressure reading is.
