Fuel pressure drops when I give it gas! Why? Okay?

Reading my rail mounted fp gauge, set at 40psi at idle, if i rev it up by hand it drops down to like 36psi. This is under no load...So I'm wondering if that's normal, and what happens under load, say WOT 3rd gear?

Did this with my stock pump/19lbs and my new 190plh pump and 30lbs...Fuel filter has less than 100miles on it...

It will drop a little as the fuel demand is raised....that is normal....mabey someone can chime in to find out how much it to much....I has a 225 pump and mine drops a little as well.
