fuel pressure gauge and air/fuel gauge install?s

what part number adaptor for the autometer fuel pressure gauge do i need to put the sender on the fuel rail , instructions said use a part number 3280 but it didnt say if there were any differences per year models , and also , what wire and where do i hook up the purple wire for the 02 sensor on the air/fuel gauge ??

For the fuel rail adapter, I believe that is the same part number that I put on mine. It is 1/16" NPT male to 1/8" female adapter. Here is a link for where I bought mine. Its at the very bottom.

That is the part I used. Also, you will probably need to get a 1/8 street 90 from your local napa or other parts store. Otherwise the pressure sensor will hit your hood.

can you get me a napa part number on that 90 degree , and any thoughts on the air fuel wire , which one is it and where should i hook it it , instructions said not to put it near the actuall sensor , so where is a good place to hook it in ?

Make sure you get some of the gas resistant teflon tape, it comes in the yellow container, not the blue. You won't have a major leak if you don't, but mine did gradually seep out around the fittings without it.

You could put a t-fitting inline with your gas hose so that you don't lose your vent on the rail. Then screw the sender into the top of the t-fitting.

I am not sure which wire to use for the a/f guage. But for the 90 degree elbow. Just take your fuel pressure sensor with you to Napa and tell them that you need a 90 degree elbow that the sensor will thread into and has a male fitting on the other end that will thread into the autometer adapter. It should just be called a 1/8" street 90. Mine did not have a part #. But it was only like $1 or $2.

fuel pressure is taken care of , anybody got a clue on which wire and where to hook it in on the A/F gauge ???

Here's what I did for my A/F gauge - disconnect the battery, pull the computer and look for pin # 60 (GY/LB) or 61 (P/LG). Those are the right and left O2 sensor signal wires. Tap into one of those wires with the purple wire from the gauge and you're in business.

If you tap in anywhere between the O2 sensor and the connector you will get a false reading (low/lean) because the wires are insulated.

thats exactly the info i was looking for , i wanted to tap it in the car that way it saves me from getting so dirty and plus ill get a better reading , thats what i had heard from a computer geek awhile back .
