fuel pressure how much?

i know this is a stupid question, but with my setup what fuel pressure should i be using? i have a aeromotive adjustable regulator but how do i set it? car is running rich and i have reason to believe that its getting to much gas... any help thanx..

i have mine at 42 psi .mine smells rich too. i have no emissions maybe thats why i run rich
