Well I just finished putter together my long block, and put the lower manifold back on, put the injectors on, along with a new AFPR. When you turn the key on the pump primes the pressure raises to 42 Psi, and as soon as the pump stops priming the pressure drops right down to 10! There is no leaks. I brought the car last year and the seller told me that there was a 255 lph pump in there. Is it possible that the pump is bad? Please help!

You can use fuel line crimpers carefully. Just as an assistant turns the car off (or as the pump stops priming) crimp (carefully) the return line. If pressure now holds, the FRP is likely.

Good luck.

Don't sweat it - the Walbro 255lph pumps do not hold pressure when the pump stops. At least mine doesn't. I thought mine was screwed up when it did the same - but I was told to just go ahead and start it up. Fire it up and it will run fine.
