Fuel Pressure Questions

My fuel pressure is sitting at about 32 psi at idle, goes up to 34 if the engine is reved. Is this low? Its a new fuel pump (reg auto zone model). I need to get me car tuned but I'm worried that this fuel pressure isn't going to give me what's needed to get a proper tune. is there a way to increase fuel pressure without replacing the pump?

Should have mentioned its a 03 mach 1 with a 5.4 navi motor.

Is that with the vac line installed? If so it should about right.

Unplug the vac line (the plug the vac line itself to ensure no vac leaks) and you should be around 39 psi at idle.
