Fuel Pressure what PSI?

I am going to fire up my stang next week after almost 2 years of working on it!

I have a question what PSI should I set my adjustable fuel pressure regulator?

I think stock is like 36-38ish? Should I set it to stock settings or bump it up because its been modified alot.

331, vic jr heads, xfi comp cam, 42 lbs injectors, aeromotive fuel kit with custom sumped stock tank, etc.

It'll be running N/A for about a year or 2, saving up for the procharger...

39-40 is a good place to start. Those are big injectors for a 331 - may have some idling issues - have you thought about any engine management systems to help tune it?

Why would I have idling issues? It should have around 400 at the flywheel and as I said down the road it will have a procharger.

Ok I'll start with 39-40 psi. I am getting a SCT chip and having it dyno tuned. I just want to fire it up and make sure it runs before I take it to the tuner.
