Been doing that too. Running lean and hot enough to make headers glow after 5 minutes of idle

That was when i was trying to get it to stay running to attempt to set timing. Not while actually setting it.

If it idles, I would check all codes, KOEO, KOER, and cylinder balance test. These will help pinpoint your issue

Now it will yes. But will stall when gas pedal is pressed.

what is your FP reading. did you pinch a line or is the FPR going.. take off the vacuum line off the FPR. Does it smell like gas

Yes but never checked. I assumed(bad idea) regulator would support 19 to 24lb injector swap

Yes vaccuum line is on and not leaking or pinched from intake to regulator

the regulator will be fine as long as the vacuum line is connected

Triple checked vaccuum leaks due to glowing headers but will look again when i get home

And what do you have the timing set at and was it done with the spout connecter out?
