Hey guys. I love this site just never post anything. Quick question, are our cars able to be shiponed. The reason im asking is because i got gas the other night from a gas sation i never go to, then about 10 miles after filling up, i get extreme knocking from the engine. After driving it around that same night i eventually experienced a lot of bogging when i pressed the gas. Today start it up runs fine for a little bit, get a very rough idle then it dies.
Id really appreciate it if someone could help me out. I looked in my Haynes, but nothing about how to siphon just says dont siphon with your mouth.

I don't know if you can siphon through the gas neck. You're going to want to change the fuel filter after this anyway, so disconnect the filter at the engine side. Put a piece of fuel hose on that end(runiing to a gas can ) and turn the key on. When your done change the filter.

Yeah, that is a good idea. Just disconnect the fuel filter and let the fuel pump drain all the fuel.

Just make sure you have plenty of gas cans. I think our tanks can hold 15.4 gallons....

I hope this is your problem. If you drain the gas, refill it and it is still doing it, then you have another problem.
