i recently rebuilt my 89 mustang's engine (302 efi), before i installed it i decided to hide the wiring through the inside of the fenders. Well once they where inside the fenders i only had to extend the maf, alternater, and i think the ignition coil wires also. But know my fuel pump wont get any power to it and my starter runs as long as that little wire is hooked up to the starter relay no matter if the ignition is on or off it still makes the starter turn on. another thing that i noticed is that the ground strap behind the engine gets hot, it isnt installed properly yet maybe its just not grounded right.
