FUEL PUMP ECCENTRIC

I took my engine apart to check things out and noticed that I left on the fuel pump eccentric, Im now running a electric pump. I dont think I need this oblong weight flying around in there, needless to say about engine balance.
Should I take it out, The only thing I see that I need to do is shorten the roll pin.

Leave it where it is. It's not worth the hassle to remove it if you've already buttoned up the motor and installed it back in the car. You've got 16 other spinning lobes in there too and they don't cause any problems.

won't hurt anything. you may decide you want to switch back to a mechanical pump at some point and then have to take the engine aparts to replace the eccentric.
