Fuel Pump Install

What is the easiest way to install the tank fuel pump in an 05 GT? do you have to lower the tank? Or can you use the access ports under the backseat?

i dont see why you could not use the access holes under the rear seat, thats what they are there for.....you do need a special tool to remove the fuel pump....email me and i can send you the gas tank removal instructions that shows the special tool to remove the lock ring on the tank....

You can get to the fuel pump module via backseat cushion removal.

Tools probably cheap. any 255 lph will be fine. BBK. walbro, holley,etc.

funny thing when we replaced my tank we removed and reset the pump and sending units with a screw driver and small hammer ?
