fuel pump installation question

I installed my walbro 255lpm pump and i was just wondering someting about the screen. In our tanks, there's a little sump where the pickup for the fuel pump sits. I was just wondering if it matters which direction the screen points. Looking at the tank, with the pump on the left the screen usually points towards you, mine's pointing to the left. Just wondering if it will make any diff. Thanks.

I think as long as the screen doesnt scruntch up youll be all right. I know its hard to see down there, but just make sure you didnt rip it or anything.

When you take out the stock pump, look and see how that screen is positioned, and put the new one in the same position. Its not hard so why bother not doing it and risking a chance that it might not fit?

I already put the new one in without looking at which way the screen was goin. It doesn't seem to be scrunched up or ripped, so i hope it will be o.k.
