I'm new to this forum stuff. Fuel pump not coming on in the cold. But when it warms up outside it kicks on with no problem. Changed the fuel relay the other night. Still nothin. but the next day it worked fine. Ordered a new fuel pump. its in today. Thinking it has something to do with the electrical in the fuel pump. since the cold is the only thing effecting it. Just looking for conformation that I'm right b4 i actually drop the tank and change it out. thanks for any help.

You posted a TECH question in Talk. This limits your chances of getting some really good advice, since most guys aren't looking for Tech stuff in the Talk forum.

Having said that, here’s some help…
Post the model year of you car and I will post the fuel pump troubleshooting test path for you model year car. It will greatly simplify troubleshooting the fuel pump system.
The wiring for 5.0 EFI Mustangs runs in four different groups, 86, 87-90, 91-93 and 94-95. All are slightly different from each other.

Oh. Didn't know. Thanks. Already changed the fuel pump. Wasn't the problem. It was the safety shut off switch in the back hatch. But thank you for the help. This was my 1st time trying the forum stuff.
