I was driving my 68 yesterday, and it stalled on me twice.
I got to where I was going, and popped the hood to see that my fram clear fuel filter bowl was empty. I also lost my ignition as well.
After I got the ignition working, the car started and ran on gas dumped down the carb, and then picked up drawing from the tank again.
My question is, isn't that fuel bowl supposed to full all the time? And, the only pump on a stock car is the single, mechanical one at the block, right? The only thing in the tank is the float for the fuel level.
What would cause an intermittent fuel problem?
