Hey guys, I'm posting this one for a friend. His car is an 87 converted to mass air. It has been through alot (had 200k on first stock engine), and recently got a new engine, a stock long block. Now the problems. When the key is turned to on, the fuel pump runs like it is supposed to, but never shuts off. It just keeps running until you turn the key off. There are no fuel leaks and almost everything has since been replaced. None of the previously mentioned parts changed or fixed anything. When the car is running, it has 40lbs of fuel pressure but drops to 25 when you start to drive. The engine wont go over 2500 rps either. He regrounded the fuel pump and checked all the other grounds too. Any ideas? Hes replaced engines before and is pretty good with mustangs, but none of us have any ideas for this one. Thanks
