Hello everyone,

I currently have a 98 GT that has the cali-emissions fuel pump, which has two pig tail connectors. I am currently looking at the following links posted below (walbro 255lph pumps). My question is, can I just keep my assembly basket with the float and wire in just the high flow pump, or am I going to need the full assembly? The first link is the whole assembly while the second link is just the pump without the basket. Thoughts?

Hi Jay, did you figure out an answer to your question? It appears the difference between the housing/pumps is where the fuel strainer sock sits....i dont have a lot of experience with your model year, let alone california specific applications but here is a bump anyway

Fair enough. Even when you get close to installation you should be able to see if you need it at all
