Fuel pump relay problem??

I put the new engine and fuel system in as per my sig..now here is the question-I had my ignition on but engine off while checking my TPS when I could hear a sound like a short fuel prime like when the ignition is turned on, it seems to occur every minute or so and sound just like the fuel pump priming but shorter and quiter. Help out a stanger will ya.

do you know it's the fuel pump priming or is that your question? If you know for sure it's your fuel pump turning on and off, you might consider getting a new relay--like you alluded to--and see if that solves the problem.

what i might do: remove the FP relay and see if you still hear the noise.

there are several sensors and servos that make a humm/buzz (remember you hear them when the puter does its diagnostics). could be one of those.
